Juvederm
Juvederm is one of the most recent gel-type dermal fillers based on naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. Juvederm is used to fill fine lines and wrinkles. Juvederm relies on hyaluronic acid, as this substance is responsible for hydrating and smoothing skin. As the body ages it loses the ability to produce hyaluronic acid and as a result skin will wrinkle and lose its fullness. Juvederm replenishes these diminished substances and returns the skin and facial areas to a more youthful appearance.
Juvederm's blend of hyaluronic acid is non-animal in its origin. This is a key factor as many choose to avoid animal products due to both allergic and ethical reasons. The non-animal formula of Juvederm helps to minimize possible allergic reactions. Juvederm's natural formula does not require mandatory allergy testing that some dermal fillers require.
Juvederm's formulations are specific to your individual needs.
What sets Juvederm apart from its competition is that it avoids the once size fits all mentality. In addition to containing the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid Juvederm is produced in three specialize formulas that can be matched to individual needs. Juvederm is a highly refined product that is known for its extreme clarity and smooth composition. Other dermal fillers can exhibit a granular appearance, Juvederm is clear.
